Kerry has long been considered by aficionados as one of Ireland's finest traditional singers, with equal facility in both Irish and English languages. Known in Ireland as a 'singer's singer', Seán is also a highly respected authority on the Irish music tradition. He is an honours graduate of Irish Language and Folklore from University College Dublin and has an M.A. in Ethnomusicology from Limerick University. He enjoys combining the roles of guest speaker/performer/educator in a wide variety of cultural forums.
